It is so hard to look at those pictures, thinking of her as human and all the things she liked to do is what affects me most, that is why her birthday hits me harder than her death anniversary. I didn't see this until now, but, on September 28 I listened to Broadcast and pinned things on my board dedicated to her... and cried a bit. My favorite person. I wonder how old was the Angel when these pics were taken...?
Thank you for sharing these pictures of a youthful Trish. Though bittersweet, they're joyful and full of personality; offering glimpses into her background and early tastes and influences. They're obviously pre-Moseley and from what little I know of her life - and based on my own memories of the era - I'm guessing they were taken in East Birmingham, sometime in the mid-to-late '80s.
I never met Trish properly but as a contemporary of hers who grew up in the same general part of the World I find these images evocative.
